Words to LIVE by

I've decided to make a motivational page for my viewers and myself.  I have soooooo many quotes and bible verses either written down, or in my phone that I want in just one place.  So HERE is that place!  Feel free to email me quotes and verses that you think I would like also, or some that have helped you along the way.

I recently came across this verse one day one pinterest.  I LOVE it.  There are so many times that I question the things going on around me and wonder what God is doing.  But, now I know I need to wait and I will understand. I hope to remember this verse throughout my journey in life and to never question Him.

John 13:7 states:
"Jesus replied, 'You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.'"

This week at church we read a scripture that I just loved and thought I would share:
Matthew 5: 1-12
"Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down.  His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.  He said:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
    for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

This is a very special passage thats close to my heart.  This was read at my uncle's funeral a few years ago:
Psalms 139: 1-18

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.
